Psychedelic Preparation & Integration

Extraordinary states of consciousness can open powerful doorways into memory, emotion, insight, spirit, and the body’s unfinished stories. These experiences can be meaningful, tender, expanding, disorienting, illuminating, or all of these at once. What makes the difference is not only the experience itself, but the care that surrounds it.

Preparation and integration support for psychedelic experiences where insight becomes embodied, and experience is gently woven into the life you are living.

I offer trauma-informed, body-centered support for individuals who are considering a psychedelic experience, preparing for one, or integrating something that has already occurred, whether recently or long ago.

Preparation: Creating a Grounded Container

Just as important as the journey itself is the preparation beforehand. Preparation is a time to slow down and listen inward, building the conditions that support a safe and meaningful experience.

Together we may explore:

• Intentions, hopes, and concerns

• Readiness and nervous system capacity

• Self-care and resourcing practices

• What to expect during and after the experience

• Support systems and environmental considerations

Preparation is not about controlling the experience, but about cultivating stability, trust, and inner orientation so that whatever arises can be met with greater support.

Integration: Weaving Insight into Life

At its heart, integration is about embodiment, allowing insight to become lived experience, supporting the body in metabolizing what unfolded, and leaving a trail of breadcrumbs to help you find your way back to yourself and to the magic of the experience.

Integration is where the deeper work unfolds. A psychedelic experience is not a single event that ends when the medicine wears off. It often continues to ripple through the body, psyche, and daily life for weeks, months, or even years.

Insights, emotions, memories, or shifts in perspective may surface gradually over time. Integration offers a place to make sense of what emerged and to gently weave those experiences into the everyday.

This process may include:

• Reflective dialogue and meaning-making

• Body-based practices to support the nervous system

• Writing, journaling, or creative expression

• Dream work and symbolic exploration

• Processing difficult or confusing material

• Exploring changes in relationships, habits, or direction

• Developing sustainable self-tending practices
