Trauma survivors often encounter unique challenges throughout the various stages of motherhood — from conception and pregnancy to childbirth and postpartum to parenting. The perinatal season represents a profound transformative period marked by significant growth, expansion, and disruptions. Despite the desire to become a mother, survivors may unexpectedly confront triggers and fears along this journey.
My work with trauma survivors involves dedicated support as they navigate the distinctive challenges that may arise during the transformative time. This commitment revolves around empowering survivors by addressing unpredicted triggers and fears while simultaneously enhancing their voice, autonomy, and agency throughout this profound journey. Fostering strength and resilience, my goal is to guide folks toward a more empowered and self-directed experience of becoming a mother.
